The garden of the Tuileries: Walk commented with the team of welcome(reception) and of surveillance(supervision)
At the heart of Paris, this 22,4 hectare garden trains(forms) a quadrilateral between the Louvre and the place de la Concorde and lined by the Seine and the street of Rivoli. Classified as "Historic Monument" and registered on the UNESCO world heritage, the garden of the Tuileries tells about the five centuries of history(story), since its creation in 1564 by Catherine de Médicis in the location of tilemakers' ovens. If its structure inherited from André Le Nôtre there makes a "French-style" garden, he manifests uninterrupted evolutions and constant innovations. The last ones go back up(raise) in 1990s, when the landscapists Pascal Cribier and Louis Benech rehabilitate him(it), as part of operation Grand Louvre. His(Her,Its) heritage-147 sculptures, of the 17th in the 21st century – 3 000 trees and his(her) always renewed fleurissements go for a walk there who(which), in the course of paths, in the freshness of groves, good reserve of surprises. With the garden of the Carousel(Merry-go-round), which, between the arms of the Louvre, receives the statues of Maillol and, near(on the side of) Saint-Germain-l' Auxerrois, the gardens of the Oratory, of the Infanta and Raffet, he(it) trains(forms) the national Domain of the Louvre and of the Tuileries. It is the Louvre which assures(insures) management and emphasising of these five gardens, thanks to a team devoted by gardeners of art.
