The wild and botanical garden of the city of Healthy of the North, is at the entrance(admission) of MDB, house of the bocage, site of the Ecomuseum of Avesnois, 35, street Jean Baptiste Lebas in HEALTHY OF THE NORTH.
It is a public, free garden, on more of 1500m ², extension in 2018 on 12000m ², open to the schedules of MDN HOUSE of the Bocage (ecomuseum). from Tuesday till Friday from 9 h till 12 h / 14h18h and on Saturdays / Sunday 14h30-18h30, from April 01st till October 31st.
His(Her,Its) style is at once wild and environmental (on the basis of plans history of the garden of the house of master(teacher)), with a (progressive) collection of wild plants of the flora being around us; in Avesnois. Some with curative virtues, other comestibles, messicoles or else mellifères...
The wild and botanical garden, it is also the garden in its own juices, the garden of tries(essays), unusual plants, a permaculture mound in démo, a protective orchard (pear trees), a natural area, biodiversity, a fence of exhibitions(exposures) with different themes every year, conferences, workshops(studios), pollinier, zero spaces - phyto, the ecological fleurissement, other collections to be discovered out of the garden (but in the city)...

A garden under development (create at the end of 2015) but accessible(approachable) to all: children, adults, students, botanists, gardeners amateur or confirmed... On the spot index cards(forms) are available for consultation on more than 50 wild plants summing up their virtues and flascodes / QRcodes supplements this information.
Ideal Season advised(recommended) to discover the garden: in May in July for its peak of blooming from the end of May till June. But also from April till May: discovery of the bulbous and spring plants which disappear then (ails of bears / orchid / arum lily...) and from September till October plants and their seeds. Having stroll(hang out) in the garden, visit MDB, House of the Bocage, which is a part of the ecomuseum of Avesnois (entered paid(profitable)). Installed(Settled) in a house built in 1870, the house of the bocage (MDB) is devoted to the rural life(rurality) and to the environmental specificities of Avesnois. Across its hedge(hurdle), its flora and built sound, go off to explore this wooded country of exception. Of this preserved territory, the inhabitants knew how to extract from it the best to create, between others, the jewel(flagship) of our country(soil): the Maroilles cheese.
