Während seines Aufenthalts in der Villa Kujoyama in Kyōto stellte er die unsicheren Vorstellungen von Wabi und Sabi den Lichtern des japanischen Winters gegenüber. KEINE SONNE. ABER DAS FEUER, die fotografische Serie, die aus diesem Aufenthalt hervorgegangen ist, zeichnet das Gebiet eines wackelnden 21. Jahrhunderts und durchläuft die fieberhaften Wirbel eines "sonnenlosen" Japan. During his residence at the Villa Kujoyama in Kyoto, he confronted the lights of the Japanese winter with the uncertain notions of wabi and sabi. NO SUN. MAIS LE FEU, the photographic series born from this stay, draws the territory of a twenty-first century wobbling and travels the feverish meanders of a Japan "without sun". This work on gaping and beauty, punctuated by enigmatic silhouettes, is nourished by the trembling of certainties, in the waves of a mysterious telluric power.

Durant sa résidence à la Villa Kujoyama à Kyoto, il a confronté aux lumières de l’hiver japonais les incertaines notions de wabi et de sabi. NUL SOLEIL. MAIS LE FEU, la série photographique née de ce séjour, dessine le territoire d’un XXIe siècle vacillant et parcourt les méandres fiévreux d’un Japon “sans soleil”. Ce travail sur la béance et la beauté, ponctué de silhouettes énigmatiques, est nourri du tremblement des certitudes, dans les ondes d’une mystérieuse puissance tellurique.

Durante su residencia en la Villa Kujoyama de Kioto, se enfrentó a las luces del invierno japonés y las inciertas nociones de wabi y sabi. NINGÚN sol. PERO EL FUEGO, la serie fotográfica nacida de esta estancia, dibuja el territorio de un siglo veintiuno vacilante y recorre los meandros febriles de un Japón "sin sol". Este trabajo sobre la serenidad y la belleza, salpicado de siluetas enigmáticas, se alimenta del temblor de las certidumbres, en las ondas de una misteriosa potencia telúrica.
