To echo the month of architecture and the other animations of the castle of Pau, we will present a work of 1615 that combines geometry, architecture and art of perspective. It was written by a Dutch mathematician and engineer, whom we will discover, Samuel Marolois. He designed this book by combining complex formulas and clear illustrations. We will also dwell on an example of fortification that he created.
"Zoom on" allows to make available to the general public rare works and normally intended for researchers.
