Hans Teerds wird seinen von der Philosophin Hannah Arendt inspirierten Aufsatz über den gemeinsamen Raum vorstellen. Darin beschreibt er den Einfluss des gebauten Umfelds auf das persönliche und soziale Leben der Bewohner sowie die politische Vitalität einer Gesellschaft. Arjan Gooijer wird der Theorie mit einem Projekt zum Bau eines generationenübergreifenden Gebäudes und zur Renovierung eines Komplexes von 100 Sozialwohnungen, das um 1915 in Afrikaanderwijk gebaut wurde, einem Viertel neben dem Hafen von Rotterdam, Gestalt verleihen. Darüber hinaus wird die bestehende, ungenutzte Schule abgerissen und durch einen Stadtpark ersetzt.

Hans Teerds will present his essay on the space we share, inspired by the philosopher Hannah Arendt. He describes the influence of the built environment on the personal and social life of the inhabitants as well as the political vitality of a society. Arjan Gooijer will give substance to the theory with a project for the construction of an intergenerational building and the renovation of a 100-unit social housing complex, built around 1915 in the Afrikaanderwijk, a district adjacent to the port of Rotterdam. Furthermore, the existing school, which is unoccupied, will be demolished and replaced by a neighbourhood park.

Hans Teerds presenterà il suo saggio sullo spazio condiviso, ispirato dalla filosofa Hannah Arendt. Descrive l'influenza dell'ambiente costruito sulla vita personale e sociale degli abitanti, nonché la vitalità politica di una società. Arjan Gooijer darà corpo alla teoria con un progetto di costruzione di un edificio intergenerazionale e di ristrutturazione di un complesso di 100 alloggi sociali, costruito intorno al 1915 in Afrikaanderwijk, un quartiere adiacente al porto di Rotterdam. Inoltre, la scuola esistente, inutilizzata, sarà demolita e sostituita da un parco di quartiere.

Arjan Gooijer donnera corps à la théorie avec un projet de construction d’un immeuble intergénérationnel et de rénovation d’un ensemble de 100 logements sociaux, construit vers 1915 dans l’Afrikaanderwijk, un quartier jouxtant le port de Rotterdam. Par ailleurs, l’école existante, inoccupée, sera démolie et remplacée par un parc de quartier.

Describe la influencia del entorno construido en la vida personal y social de los habitantes, así como la vitalidad política de una sociedad.
