Vom friedlichen Bergdorf bis zum internationalen Skigebiet hat sich das Gesicht von Megève seit der Entwicklung des Tourismus zu Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts ständig verändert. Neue Bedürfnisse treten auf und führen zu neuen Problemen im Zusammenhang mit Mobilität, Wohnen und Aktivitäten. Dieser gewaltige wirtschaftliche, gesellschaftliche und kulturelle Aufschwung hat zu einer dramatischen Veränderung der architektonischen Landschaft geführt.
Der Rundgang wird die Form einer Zeitreise annehmen: Ausgehend vom traditionellen Bauernhof lassen wir uns von den Gebäuden führen, die Zeugen verschiedener Epochen sind, und werden natürlich das Werk von Henry Jacques Le Même wieder entdecken. From the peaceful mountain village to the international ski resort, the face of Megève has been constantly changing since the development of tourism at the beginning of the 20th century. New needs are emerging and giving rise to new issues related to travel, housing, and activities. This tremendous economic, societal and cultural momentum has resulted in a spectacular evolution of the architectural landscape.
The tour will take the form of a journey through time: starting from the traditional farm, we will let ourselves be guided by the buildings that bear witness to different eras and will of course revisit the work of Henry Jacques Le Même, pioneer of talent who marked the Megevan landscape with his modern and refined temperament.
