Lejo created a unique and original form of theater. His puppets are composed only of bare hands and wooden eyes. 'Hands up!' (hands up!) is a family musical show without words, full of poetry and humor. In a blue setting the puppets demonstrate their talents. A strong dog, 2 tap dancers, a cow with an eating problem, a children's choir with its conductor and many other characters pass by. The audience (young and old!) quickly forgets that they are looking at two hands.
Lejo, whose real name is Leo Petersen, has been manipulating his puppets since 1995. What was initially just a final year project art school studies became an issue that traveled the world.
