Circus-dance from 3 years old: The Fabulous Story of BasarKus

Where does my body begin and end? Who is this other than me? How to accept it? So many questions that build this ode to self-discovery by the Lamento company.

BasarKus is not a being like the others! A creature with two heads and multiple legs, it also has plenty of arms. From adventure to adventure, he rolls on himself endlessly. It has always been so. He is happy like that, in perfect harmony with himself. But upon discovering that he has two hearts, BasarKus questions himself. What if there were two in reality?
If there are two of them, they seem united for life! As if stuck together, inseparable and indivisible… Stronger, safer. Together ! But driven by a furious curiosity, they cannot resist the urge to dissociate. It’s the scariest and most exciting thing they’ve ever done. Their games now consist of overcoming their fears and experiencing separation at all costs. During their adventures, they discover who they are and what they are each truly capable of, alone.
The Fabulous Story of BasarKus is a virtuoso and mischievous duo between circus and dance. Markus in juggling and Basil in acrobatics. Here, they constantly create bridges between their Arts, pushing dialogue to the limit. The quest for identity and the notion of hybridity are at the center of this story. Moving from symbiosis to separation-individualization.
