A fairy tale, three chairs, eight instruments.
Two children, a witch, and her gingerbread house. All the classic fairy tale ingredients are there. But you have to see what Collectif Ubique does with them to truly appreciate this theatrical and musical journey that brings the Brothers Grimm's famous recipe up to date: theorbo, lute, musical saw, violin, clarinet, percussion, sung and chanted texts. The trio of actor-musicians switch hats and instruments every second to offer us a poetic and offbeat show, blending original compositions and texts.
The Collectif was born in 2012 from the meeting of the three artists and their intrinsic artistic worlds: theater, instrumental and vocal music. In nearly ten years, they have staged three original adaptations of famous fairy tales, radically reimagined: Hansel and Gretel (2012), Sleeping Beauty (2017), and The Little Mermaid (2021). Over time, they have developed their writing and soundscape, diversified their instrumental techniques according to the dramatic needs of their performances, and reinforced a distinctive stage presence that has become their signature: three chairs facing the audience.
Out of respect for the artists and other audience members, we reserve the right to refuse entry to latecomers and children under the stated age, without refund or exchange. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Un conte, trois chaises, huit instruments.
Deux enfants, une sorcière et sa maison en pain d’épices. Tous les célèbres ingrédients du conte sont là. Mais il faut voir ce qu’en font le Collectif Ubique pour fondre de plaisir devant ce périple théâtral et musical pour remettre au goût du jour la célèbre recette des frères Grimm : théorbe, luth, scie musicale, violon, clarinette, percussions, textes chantés, scandés. Le trio de comédiens-musiciens change de casquettes et d'instruments à chaque seconde pour nous proposer un spectacle poétique et déjanté, mêlant compositions et textes originaux.
Le Collectif est né en 2012 de la rencontre des trois artistes et de leurs univers artistiques intrinsèques : le théâtre, la musique instrumentale et vocale. En près de dix ans, ils montent trois adaptations originales de contes célèbres, radicalement revisités : Hansel et Gretel (2012), La Belle au Bois Dormant (2017) et La Petite Sirène (2021). Avec le temps, ils étoffent leur plume et leur univers sonore, diversifient leurs techniques instrumentales selon les besoins dramaturgiques et renforcent un parti pris scénique qui devient leur signature : trois chaises face au public.
