The opening of La Chaufferie on Sunday 20 September during the European Heritage Days will be an opportunity for the public in the Paris region to discover this atypical artistic space, a place of creation for the DCA Company, directed by the choreographer Philippe Decouflé.
For this occasion, a dance workshop will be led by two dancers. of the company, Charles Noyerie and Aure Barbier, echoing the participative ball Extra Bal orchestrated by the Compagnie DCA in June at Nuits de Fourvière. Taking up the theme and atmosphere of popular balls, participants will discover different ballroom dances - or company dances - from tango to rock through the waltz.
The workshop will be followed by film screenings and video excerpts from the work of the Company DCA - Philippe Decouflé. Site visits will also be planned, continuously from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

La Chaufferie has been the birthplace of the DCA-Philippe Decouflé Company since 1993\. Carried out by the company, the rehabilitation of this former district heating plant in the City of Saint-Denis was carried out from 1994 to 1999\. Since this period, the Chaufferie has been developing and equipping itself with creative spaces with the installation of a stage, a dance studio, technical spaces: with a workshop, a storage warehouse and finally accessibility (exterior) layout
