JAZZ NO JAZZ TRIP / LONDON PRODIGY / NEW ADVENTURES IN SOLO SAXOPHONE
Carved in electronics, elevated by acoustics, CKTRL's music is a redefinition of the term "classic", a succession of deep influences that form a discography admittedly short, but already unique in its genre. In fact, through his music, he ardently desires to create reference musical material for black children learning music to study, without having their references consist solely of resurrected white classical artists from other centuries. Cktrl is political, there's no doubt about it.
CKTRL
Cktrl aka Bradley Miller lives in South London. Music has been a part of Bradleys life for as long as he can remember. Shaped by a blend of his West Indian heritage and years of classical training on the clarinet and saxophone, Bradley's unique sound is rare. He learned his practical musical knowledge in a studio at his school's learning center, with instruments and lessons funded by the city council. Today, having worked with the likes of Virgil Abloh, Bianca Saunders, Tremaine Emory, Nicholas Daley, Mercedes Benz, Jenn Nkiru, and most recently featuring Beyoncé's song "Black Is King," Miller is firmly grounded. in the revival of black culture that is emerging here in Britain, and his designs are part of the soundtrack of every fashion movie and commercial.
