Workshop "Music from Prehistory to the Middle Ages"
Children will first discover the primitive music and make zoomorphic and globular whistles, as well as rhombes in slate. Then, a short tour of antiquity to evoke the representations of musicians or instruments that allow us to know more about the music of this time. Children will engrave theatre masks, reproduce black figures on ceramics as in ancient Greece and dance and singing scenes on papyrus like those found in the Egyptian tombs, before creating a small mosaic representing a lyre player. Finally, head for the Middle Ages! On the program: discovery of a score and a medieval song, creation of a stained glass window representing a musician and small initiation to medieval dance. Course of 2 days on registration. Hours: 9:30-16:30. Provide the picnic lunch (possibility to heat dishes).
