Screening of the film «Pescaïres dé Dourdougno» directed by Michel Lorblanchet on the Dordogne. The cameraman taking the views was Mr J-M.Lambalieu, cameraman of the Departmental Archives of Lot .
This 56-minute film is about traditional fishing on the Dordogne since prehistoric times: it presents prehistoric fishing tools that I discovered during my excavations in the region and then it shows the fishing nets and ropes of the inhabitants of the Dordogne valley that are inherited from prehistoric practices.
Michel Lorblanchet (prehistorian and «fisherman himself», as he likes to hear himself say) will be present at the screening and will animate the debate that will follow.
