A workshop full of light

Live in the night and decorate the park of the museum with lanterns made and decorated during a participatory workshop with the visual artist and scenographer Luna Duchaufour-Lawrence. From 7pm to 9pm | Workshop

Rodin’s last residence from 1895, the Villa des Brillants, located on the heights of Meudon, is a house of neo-Louis XIII style, of modest appearance, in bricks and stones. Visitors discover both the spirit of a workshop and the atmosphere of an artist’s home that recreate the sculptor’s living and working environment. The museum, presents many plasters, including those of the monumental works of Rodin in their successive states: The Gate of Hell, The Bourgeois of Calais, the numerous studies and figures for Balzac, the monuments to Victor Hugo, Puvis de Chavanne and Whistler. His tomb in the garden, surmounted by the Thinker, makes him a favourite place for meditation.
