For the European Night of Museums, the scenography company "Les Plastiqueurs" imagines luminous amphorae. For an evening at the Archea Museum, the "totem chalices" and the "amphora chandeliers" are erected like sentinels who watch over a world engulfed by time. The curved shapes of the amphorae evoke the elegant and voluptuous lines of ancient objects, while glowing, they warm the atmosphere and illuminate the exhibition rooms. At their side, stand luminous totems illuminating the path of visitors and seekers of vestiges. Their mysterious shapes and lace-like skins inspire imagination, inviting visitors to delve into the depths of history. The scenography resonates like an echo through the ages and reminds us that behind each discovered object hides a story to discover.
Come make a collective sculpture! You can meet the artists of the company during a sculpture workshop offered to visitors. Parents and children (from 7 years old) can imagine amphorae and volumes with glue, cardboard and cutting tools. The pieces made during the workshop can be stacked on top of each other to create small totems that will remain in the museum space. The number of volumes will give shape to a collective ephemeral installation that will echo the scenography installation presented that night on the facade and in the hall of the museum.
