The Frac Normandie is above all a collection dedicated to contemporary creation, for forty years and in all its forms, from the most traditional to the most current: new media, installations... Unlike a museum, it aims to circulate the works of its collection throughout Normandy, and beyond. The FRAC Normandie organizes exhibitions all year round in different cultural places or heritage buildings of the region. The FRAC also develops numerous actions aimed at the educational environment and the medico-social field (hospitals, retirement homes...). The FRAC has two exhibition spaces of its own, one in Sotteville-lès-Rouen and the other in Caen. Four exhibitions of major artists or from the collection punctuate the annual program of the FRAC Normandie, but also white cards to exhibition curators or invitations to artists related to the region.
