The Museum of Prehistory is proud to present you the choreographic creation of the primary schoolboys of the school of Solutré-Pouilly and of Fuissé, accompanied with the dancers of the Company Michel Hallet Eghayan. They celebrate the Prehistory by dance around a creation inspired by show Which Side Story!

Located at the very foot of the Roche de Solutré, the Museum presents the collections of one of the richest prehistoric deposits in Europe; a hunting site frequented for more than 50,000 years by men who came to hunt, skin and boucaner thousands of horses and reindeer. There remains at this site an accumulation of bones at the origin of the legend of the horses precipitated by the hunters from the summit of the Rock. The Archaeological and Botanical Garden, located on the famous archaeological site, offers an area of approximately 13,000 m², an opportunity to discover a wide variety of plant species characteristic of the natural environment and the essential results of archaeological research. A marked path leads you through a path punctuated by eight stations.
