About the location

Maison des Hommes et des Paysages
58230 Saint-Brisson Les Petites Fourches
  • Nièvre

The Maison des Hommes et des Paysages, located in the heart of the Maison du Parc, opens the course "Morvan, a history of exchanges and migrations": it will make you travel through the landscapes of the territory, on the traces of those who have shaped them over time. From prehistory to the present day, find the history of the "Morvan people", migrants since the beginning of time, and of those they welcomed. Through a giant comic strip or around a model of the territory, you will follow the paths that lead to the Morvan of today. You can also indulge in a few poetic detours in the panoramas of a digital space where contemporary and ancient photographs combine. From yesterday to today, the House of Men and Landscapes opens a window on life in Morvan and questions the relationship between man and his environment.
