Anthology of Renaissance
The Trio Musica Humana is created within the Cathedral Notre-Dame of Paris, by three students coming from its Control(Master's degree): Yann Rolland (against tenor(leading light)), Martial Pauliat (tenor) and Igor Bouin (baritone). Travelling in music and time(weather), the Trio Musica Humana highlights the modernity of themes and the texts of compositions of the big(great) musicians of the time(period) of Renaissance, of Clement Janequin (1485-1558) to Claudin de Sermisy (1490-1562), from William Byrd (1543-1623) to Thomas Weelkes (1576-1623), from Josquin Desprez (1450-1521) to Jean Mouton (1459-1522).
Deserving heir of the famous set Clement Janequin, TMH explores with a rare intensity this fascinating directory of music in three voices(votes) of the Renaissance, restoring life in these works by an interpretation(performance) colorful, exciting and not lacking in humor.
