Joseph-Félix Bouchor, painter of armies, was a member(part) of about twenty artists sent on the forehead(front) as witnesses(batons) of History(Story) in 1914. These missions covered the main places of battles particularly in the Somme(Sum) at the back of frontlines. He(It) sketches, devastated landscapes, everyday life(daily paper) of the soldiers, portraits of unknown men and warlords.
This exhibition(exposure), installed(settled) from May 19th till August 18th in the gallery of the Easel, gives opportunity(occasion) to put opposite the collections of the museum of Amiens and those of the museum of Noyonnais.
