Wo stehen wir in unserer Beziehung zur Erde, wenn viele planetarische Grenzen durch menschliches Handeln überschritten werden? Dieser neue Zustand beginnt sich immer deutlicher zu manifestieren, und zwar eher zum Schlechten: Hitzewellen, Dürren oder Überschwemmungen jenseits der Norm, Mega-Brände, Hungersnöte...
Mit dem Beitrag des Philosophen Dominique Bourg, des Psychologen Tobias Brosch und der Linguistin Cristina Soriano schlägt das Museum vor, unsere Emotionen zu erleben, um ihre Auswirkungen in und angesichts der Umweltkrise besser zu verstehen.
Wir alle müssen handeln, um zum Wohlergehen der Lebewesen, einschließlich der Menschen, beizutragen.
Es geht einfach darum, mit der Erde zu leben und nicht gegen sie.
Die Inszenierung, die nur geringe Auswirkungen auf die Umwelt hat, bringt naturkundliche Sammlungen, Zeichnungen, Fotografien, Zeugnisse und Emotionen zusammen.

Global warming, mass extinctions, ecosystem collapse, all kinds of catastrophes, even the threat of the disappearance of the human race ….. everything is going wrong. Although we don’t know all there is to know about the state of our earth or what the future may hold, scientists are quite clear: we know enough to be aware that our future is no longer very attractive. So, why are we doing so little to change the situation?
With the support of Dominique Bourg, philosopher, Tobias Brosch, psychologist and Cristina Soriano, linguist, the Museum invites you to examine people’s emotions and behaviour to better understand their impact within and in the face of the environmental crisis. Our approach is to draw together artistic and scientific perspectives to throw light onto an ecological situation and review the solutions. Drawings, photography, words, interviews and the Museum’s collection of natural objects hold a dialogue in scenarios that we wanted to be as ecological as possible. That is why we have recycled former settings and have chosen materials with low environmental impact.
We must re-think our relationship with the earth and learn from our experience and knowledge. We must act, that is, change our excessive behaviours in order to live in balance with nature, and thereby contribute to the well-being of all living creatures whether plants, animals or humans.
Live with the earth, not against it.

Où en sommes-nous dans notre relation à la Terre, alors que bien des limites planétaires sont dépassées par l’action de l’Homme. Cet état nouveau commence à se manifester de plus en plus clairement, et plutôt pour le pire : vagues de chaleur, sécheresses ou inondations hors normes, méga-feux, famines...
Avec l'apport du philosophe Dominique Bourg, du psychologue Tobias Brosch et de la linguiste Cristina Soriano, le Muséum propose de faire l'expérience de nos émotions afin de mieux comprendre leur impact dans et face à la crise environnementale.
Nous devons toutes et tous agir pour contribuer au bien-être du vivant, humains compris.
En fait il s’agit simplement de vivre tout contre la Terre et non pas contre elle.
La scénographie, à faible impact environnemental, rassemble des collections naturalistes, des dessins, des photographies, des témoignages et des émotions.
