As part of the "Partir en livres" programme, whose theme for this summer is friendship, let's discover the story of Siam, an Asian elephant, from his birth to his arrival in Europe, where he met Mr Ruppert who remained in contact with him until his death. After observing the elephant in the MEG's collections, commissioned by Gustave Revilliod and bequeathed by him in 1890, we discover the story of Siam in the library's music room. The visit ends by listening to sounds related to its history.

Dans le cadre du programme «Partir en livres» dont la thématique pour cet été est l'amitié, découvrons l'histoire de Siam, un éléphant d'Asie, de sa naissance à son arrivée en Europe, où il rencontre M. Ruppert qui restera en contact avec lui jusqu'à sa mort. Après avoir observé l'éléphant des collections du MEG, commandé par Gustave Revilliod et légué par lui en 1890, découvrons l'histoire de Siam dans le salon de musique de la bibliothèque. La visite se termine par l'écoute de sons en lien avec son histoire.
