What if we were all monsters? The exhibition questions us on the borders of the monstrous and the natural by a journey between art and science. It explores how nature makes - and continues to make - the diversity of living forms that we know today. The chimerical creatures of the sculptor Jean Fontaine will dialogue with the work of researchers from the University of Geneva.

An exhibition in 3 places in Geneva:

  • At the Exhibition Hall of the University of Geneva - from February 7 to April 13, 2022 - Uni Carl Vogt, 66 boulevard Carl-Vogt. The chimerical creatures of the sculptor Jean Fontaine dialogue with the work of the researchers in biology of the University of Geneva. A playful and interactive installation, guided tours, workshops for classes (Sec I and II) and public evenings are scheduled. Program of visits and events available here.
  • At the Natural History Museum of the City of Geneva - from February 6 to May 22, 2022 - 1 route de Malagnou. The Museum proposes an original installation around the artist's works. Guided tours "à l'aveugle" and a special program for the Night of the Museums await you.
  • At the Ariana Museum - from February 6 to May 22, 2022 - 10 avenue de la Paix. The Ariana Museum exhibits a work by Jean Fontaine in its "carte blanche" window.
