MEG X GIFF : Futura!
MEG's Sunday movies continue for a season around three essential and current notions: identity, gender and sustainability.
Documentary films, series, fiction and animation films addressing these themes will be screened free of charge in the Museum's Auditorium on several Sundays each month.
As part of its festival, the GIFF is partnering with the MEG to screen Futura! a flamboyant Swiss series to be discovered without delay.
A carte blanche given to young filmmakers. Coming from different backgrounds, ten young filmmakers draw up eclectic and fascinating portraits of communities, from the most confidential to the most symptomatic of a world in full mutation. Through their view of the future, their characters tell us about living together, the margins, otherness, commitment, and the diversity of possible futures. Whether they are emerging filmmakers, alumni of film schools, or spearheading a new generation of filmmakers, the directors are driven by a deep desire to listen to these voices of today and to accompany their visions of contemporary society.
In collaboration with the GIFF (Geneva International Film Festival).
In German, French and Italian VO, with English subtitles.
