Because the arrival of a newborn child is a pivotal moment in the lives of its parents and their entourage, the MEG invites pregnant women and anyone concerned by the birth of a child (future fathers, relatives) to an original workshop-tour.
Drawing its inspiration from the African fertility dolls presented in the MEG's permanent exhibition, this workshop-tour invites participants to create an original doll for the newborn child and his family while discovering their traditional use.
No art skills are required.
The activity is free of charge, but requires a reservation due to limited space in the hall. Reservations can be made by emailing accueil.meg@geneve.ch.
To ensure the best possible experience for all participants, no entry will be allowed after the activity has begun, so as not to disrupt the proceedings and the group. Thank you for your understanding.
If you have reserved a ticket but are unable to attend, please contact the MEG ticket office (accueil.meg@geneve.ch) to free up your place and allow someone else to take part.
