Jean Revillard

27.05 — 12.06 Promenade des Bastions | 12.06 — 30.06 Rotonde du Mont-Blanc | 01.07 — 14.07 Promenade des Bastions
27 May - 14 July
Bibliothèque de Genève

In January 2019, at the age of 51, Geneva photographer Jean Revillard passed away suddenly.
His photographic work is a committed testimony to ordinary people who have been brutally thrust into an "out-of-this-world" space, that of migration, exile, prostitution and precariousness.
The hut in the forest is a clear sign of their uncertain existence, their hopes and dreams as well as the fragility of their conditions of survival.
