MEG's Sunday films continue for a season around three essential and current notions: decolonisation, gender and sustainability.
Documentary, fiction and animation films addressing these themes are screened free of charge in the Museum's auditorium several Sundays a month.
As part of April's Think and Do event, The Recycling Myth by Tom Costello and Benedict Wermter is screened in the Museum's auditorium.
What actually happens to our plastic waste once we put it in the recycling bin?
As the plastic pollution crisis has become an international scandal, the world's biggest consumer goods brands have said they have a solution: recycling. But our plastic packaging is still more likely to end up burnt or thrown away than recycled.

Les ciné-dimanches du MEG continuent pour une saison autour de trois notions essentielles et actuelles: la décolonisation, le genre et la durabilité.
Des films documentaires, des fictions et des films d'animation abordant ces thématiques sont projetés gratuitement dans l'Auditorium du Musée plusieurs dimanches par mois.
Dans le cadre du RDV pour réfléchir et agir du mois d'avril, The Recycling Myth de Tom Costello et Benedict Wermter est projeté dans l'auditorium du musée.
Qu'advient-il réellement de nos déchets plastiques une fois que nous les avons mis dans le bac de recyclage ?
Alors que la crise de la pollution plastique est devenue un scandale international, les plus grandes marques de biens de consommation de la planète ont déclaré avoir une solution : le recyclage. Mais nos emballages plastiques ont toujours plus de chances de finir brûlés ou jetés que recyclés.
