Our historic monuments, a century of protection
Exhibition(Exposure) presents in four phases corresponding in four different periods, the change of approach of a historical monument.
See – Look – Photograph
The first looks on the monument pass to the XIXth century by the photography, and this only action(share) already transforms it into a valuable item which deserves that a visual track is kept(preserved).
Study – Look – Publish
The second period, the time(weather) of research(search) on the history(story) of the monument, and from systematic campaigns(countrysides) of inventory of heritage arrives then (General registry...)
Protect – Keep(Preserve) – Restore
We enter then concrete, everyday life(daily paper) of the monument, with the installation of the laws of protections of heritage (on 1887, on 1913, code of heritage, ZPPAUP, AVAP) and all conservation policies and politics(policies) of restoration(catering).
Promote – Present – Explain
It is, finally, all work of mediation begun(undertaken) to make live in the everyday life(daily paper) this rich heritage for the largest number of us on open houses in the label City of art and of history(story).
Become soaked with the spirit of places
For every themes, a particular(special) look is carried on an emblematic monument and on a character who played a significant role for the protection of our heritage in our region.
