Its status evolved at the same time as its perception(collection), but it was reproduced in decorative arts, and in particular in wallpaper. The 18th century is fascinated by the birds; the 19th century makes an use(custom) abundant of fabulous creatures of the ancient and medieval bestiary; revealed Art nouveau aquatic fauna(crowd) The 20th century had trend(tendency) to reserve animals for wallpaper for child.
In the second floor of museum, exhibition(exposure) "The Wallpaper as the seasons go by", suggests you rediscovering beauty and singularity of these four periods of the year, omnipresent in our everyday life(daily paper). The motives for wallpaper that they are old(former) or contemporary use a stereotypical imaging or on the contrary become emancipated of these codes and renew our vision of four seasons.
