Who were the Vikings? Deepen your knowledge of this fascinating people whose legend is populated with adventures, conquests, formidable warriors and influential gods. It will be a matter of discovering their culture and beliefs and admiring their talents as artisans. Havik will present a boat-building workshop as well as the fishing and navigation techniques used by these outstanding sailors. The history of their navigations will be told to the younger ones while the older ones can practice the combat maneuvers.
Within the monetary workshop of Officina Monetae, the largest reconstituted monetary treasure will exhibit pennies, dirhams, ingots and jewelry of all kinds.
The association "Les cerfs" will present workshops of beading, passementerie and Nalbinding (weaving technique between crochet and knitting). Clay and steatite will be worked to create everyday objects.
Participatory workshops will be offered continuously and free access throughout the day.

Qui étaient les Vikings ? Approfondissez vos connaissances sur ce peuple fascinant dont la légende est peuplée d’aventures, de conquêtes, de guerriers redoutables et de dieux influents. Il s’agira de découvrir leur culture et leurs croyances et d’admirer leurs talents d’artisans. Havik présentera un atelier de construction de bateaux ainsi que les techniques de pêche et de navigation utilisées par ces marins hors pair. L’histoire de leurs navigations sera contée aux plus jeunes tandis que les plus âgés pourront s’exercer aux manœuvres de combat.
Au sein de l’atelier monétaire d’Officina Monetae, le plus grand trésor monétaire reconstitué exposera des pennies, des dirhams, des lingots et des bijoux en tout genre.
L'association "Les cerfs" présentera des ateliers de perlerie, de passementerie et de Nalbinding (technique de tissage entre le crochet et le tricot). L'argile et la stéatite seront travaillées pour créer des objets du quotidien.
Des ateliers participatifs seront proposés en continu et en accès libre toute la journée.

Wie waren de Vikingen? Verdiep je kennis van deze fascinerende mensen wiens legende bevolkt is met avonturen, veroveringen, formidabele krijgers en invloedrijke goden. Het zal een kwestie zijn van het ontdekken van hun cultuur en overtuigingen en het bewonderen van hun talenten als ambachtslieden. Havik presenteert een werkplaats voor het bouwen van boten en de visserij- en navigatietechnieken die door deze uitstekende zeilers worden gebruikt. De geschiedenis van hun navigatie zal aan de jongere verteld worden, terwijl de oudere de gevechtsmanoeuvres kunnen oefenen.
Binnen de monetaire workshop van Officina monetae, zal de grootste gereconstitueerde monetaire schat pennies, dirhams, ingots en juwelen van alle soorten tentoonstellen.
De vereniging "Les cerfs" zal workshops van kralen, passementerie en Nalbinding (weven techniek tussen haak en breien) presenteren. Klei en steatite zullen worden bewerkt om alledaagse objecten te maken.
Participatieve workshops worden continu aangeboden en gedurende de dag gratis toegankelijk.
