Meudon muse of the artists, welcomes them in its places full of history, in the middle of trees, stones and under a vault constantly observed. Fertile in research, creation and meditation, the landscape has become for many artists an elusive and ideal raw material. Through his exploration, he offers a moment of pause, an opportunity to look up and to pay attention to the fluctuations of the heavens, creators and creators via multiple mediums.
The project À ciel ouvert is proposed by Bruno Dunckel, painter and lover of the pictorial background of Meudon, city open to all perspectives, between Paris, the sky and the Seine. This exhibition brings together eight artists, harnessed for the occasion to the theme of the sky, under its multiple chromatic facets.
Jean Letourneur, guest of honour, sculptor and aerodynamicist, inscribes the movement of energy in the veins of the marble.
Marie-Elise Larène, ciéliste, composes subtle and vibrant clouds of pastel.
Rémi Chayé, animated film director, presents a new series of sketchbooks.
Bruno Dunckel, postman in Meudon, develops an oil painting in love with clouds, where the color seems suspended.
Jérôme Mathien offers photographs injected with oxygen, taken at high altitude from his cockpit.
Christophe Debelmas, independent lover of freedom, unveils a series of photographs under the aegis of the ether.
Marina Blondel, psychologist, harmonizes in sequence her serial shots of the skies of Meudon.
Yann Raude, draftsman, reflects the architecture of the place and its nobility in its large format inks. The vast gallery of the Orangerie, and its large windows open on the parterre, welcomes these enthusiasts of light and space, where their works gain their full expression.
