Les Lions de Flandre

On 21 and 22 September, Pierre de Roubaix and Jehan de Rubempré, advisor to Philippe le Bon and Charles le Téméraire, welcome you to the Burgundian court! Relive the atmosphere of a celebration of the late Middle Ages in Flanders of the Dukes of Burgundy, like the pheasant banquet that took place in 1454. Lords, bourgeois, soldiers and musicians are present and reveal their activities, lifestyles and extravagant costumes. All this to the sounds of the bagpipes, the vièle, the flutes and the drums of Saltabraz. On the military camp, the medieval offensive and defensive weaponry is exposed: helmets, armor, mesh protections, hast weapons and especially the impressive artillery pieces that are heard all around the park. Attend the "no weapon", a kind of courteous sports competition simulating a military situation! Many participatory workshops continuously. With Les Lions de Flandre, Genz de Lille1450, Les genz de Rubempré, Mode d'autrefois and Saltabraz. Small restoration on the stand of the Clowns of hope. FREE ENTRANCE/ WITHOUT RESERVATION
