On the occasion of the 15th edition of the European Night, the LaM opens its doors for free to the public from 6pm to midnight! This annual event is an opportunity to (re)discover the museum, its permanent collection and its exhibition-event, Alberto Giacometti, a modern adventure, from an original and festive angle. A month before the closing of the doors of the exhibition-event Alberto Giacometti, a modern adventure, it will open to the public free of charge on the occasion of the European Night of Museums. Guided tours will be organized throughout the evening to discover the unparalleled path of one of the most legendary artists of the 20th century.
pm: Discovery of the park sculptures and the works of Alberto Giacometti in the light of flashlights
A rare opportunity to understand works of art in a different way, the museum will offer the public the opportunity to stroll through the rooms completely immersed in darkness. With the help of a flashlight, visitors will be able to contemplate the sculptures of Alberto Giacometti, but also those of the museum park, to not miss any detail of these works containing the paw of their creators.
All evening: Screen printing workshops and workshops Hand in Hand
Young, old, teenagers, young active, the workshops of the museum open their doors to all. On the program and throughout the evening, workshops on screen printing will be offered as well as parent-children workshops. A perfect opportunity to discover plastic arts practices with friends or family!
