The Raymondie Palace is a magnificent and imposing 12th century residence in the heart of the medieval Martel.
On the 2nd floor is the Gallo-Roman Museum of Uxellodunum, inscribed on the list of museums in France, where you can discover permanent collections but also temporary exhibitions ranging from prehistory to the present day.
Municipal museum founded in 1931 by the Town Hall, the Tourist Office and Monsieur Antoine Laurent-Bruzy, it welcomes discoveries made on the site of the Fontaine de Loulié in Puy d'Issolud. The collections continued to grow in the following years and even today. Since 2015, it has been entrusted to the Friends of the Musée de la Raymondie, an association under the 1901 law, which organizes, with its scientific committee, exhibitions, school interventions and conferences.
Three rooms are offered to the public with videos, exhibitions and comments (Prehistory, Antiquity, and Middle Ages, Modern Times)
