A wine's quality and organoleptic characteristics are heavily dependent on climate conditions, in particular whilst the grapes are ripening. As the climate becomes increasingly hot and dry, wine styles are changing accordingly. Winegrowers have been forced to adapt in order to limit these changes and continue producing high-quality wine in a changing climate.
