From April 23 to July 12, 2025, the LaM moves into the Public Condition with two new exhibitions as part of the new edition of @lille3000, Fiesta!
The stars also cool:
For this exhibition, the LaM offers a singular immersion in the world of the party, with flagship works from its collection, some unpublished, and exceptional loans from Francis Alÿ s, Davide Balula, Daniel Buren, Benoît Piéron... Between bursts of euphoria and a return to reality, the exhibition questions the ambivalence of the celebration, while revisiting parades and carnivals.
Night birds:
Bringing together the works of ten young artists, the exhibition approaches the festival as a space where bodies are transformed, as a place of emergence and affirmation of countercultures and shifting identities. The artists - Aïda Bruyère, Beatrice Celli, Clément Courgeon, Kenny Dunkan, Lou le Forban, Barbara Léon Leclercq, Yosra Mojtahedi, Lenny Rébéré, Hugo Servanin and Ugo Woatzi - live between Lille, Brussels, Marseille and the Paris region. Their practices include drawing, painting, sculpture, installation, photography or sound.
