It is the story of an encounter between the world of archaeology and cinema, with the desire to go beyond clichés and traditional representations. Archaeology stimulates curiosity and imagination in its quest for human history through their buried material traces. Cinema represents gestures, bodies and sets that make "bodies" by filming their interactions. The audiovisual archives keep the memory of these gestures and are witnesses of their evolution. Cinema and archaeology come together in this process of creation and exploration that shows these technical gestures to make visible what is buried and recompose what is scattered. We invite you to the story of a quest set in images, fictional or documentary, the mise en abyme of a movement in search of places, objects, traces and ultimately ancient and lost gestures that will be the thread of this meeting between professionals of archaeology and cinema. A collaboration between the Regional Department of Archaeology (Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs Hauts-de-France), Le Fresnoy - Studio national des arts contemporains, and Archipop, association dedicated to the safeguarding and enhancement of audiovisual archives of Hauts-de-Francede-France. 16h30 .
