Since this summer, Champagne Taittinger has again opened the doors of its cellars, after 18 months of work, time necessary for the total overhaul of the visit center of Saint-Nicaise. Your visit will be an opportunity to contemplate its magnificent crayères and (re)discover the singular universe of the House by tasting a cup of Prestige Rosé (except for minors).

The craters date from the 4th century. They are now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Originally, they were dug to extract blocks of chalk, before becoming the basement of Saint-Nicaise Abbey. They were then complemented by a network of galleries linking cellars, crypts and cellars to house the Champagne wines which the Benedictines traded.
Destroyed during the French Revolution, the abbey survives only its basement, whose vaults, intact, welcome each year more than 70,000 visitors amazed by the remains of one of the most beautiful expressions of the Champagne Gothic style.
