Guided tour
During visit, the owners will organise groups of visits to present architecture and history(story) of property. For the children, a tiny quiz will be organised.

This place has a double interest:
- Architectural: the iron building(ship) on horseback(by horse), revolutionary at the time of by its conception(design) in free and individual animal housings for the cattle, gathered(combined) all activities of a traditional farm. This avant-garde conception(design) was aimed at taking the good(property) into account to be animals, and allowed to make easier and to improve the organisation of the work of the staff.
- History: During the World War I, Valvion was requisitioned to establish the English headquarters. In 1916, the commander in chief Sir Douglas Haig settles down there to manage his army committed(hired) in the battle of the Somme(Sum). August 12th was a historic day for Valvion: Sir Douglas Haig receives the king Georges V, the president Poincaré, the generals Foch and Joffre, to organise the union between armies. A photo and a movie testify this meeting.
