About the location

Parc Boussard

43 rue de Verdun 91510 Lardy

Essonne

Île-de-France

Garden created during the Art Deco period (1927) by a renowned architect (Joseph Marrast) for the Boussard family who had taken up residence in Lardy. This small garden of 5,000 m 2, which became a municipal park in 1989, is interesting as an approach to an architectural movement (Art Deco), an era (that of the International Exhibition of Decorative Arts of 1925) and the art of gardens. Moreover, this garden listed as a Historic Monument benefited from the Heritage lottery for a complete restoration completed in 2022\. It was declared a remarkable garden by the Ministry of Culture in 2024.
