The National Memorial of the Montluc prison takes part in the 2026 National Architecture Days.
Discovery of a new digital mediation tool:
In order to offer materials that improve the understanding of the spaces of the former Montluc prison and its evolution since the Second World War, the Memorial has developed an application that makes it possible to grasp the layout, the dimensions and history of a unique building that has now disappeared: the former "Jewish barracks". Deconstructed in the mid-1950s, this place of internment representative of persecution is now reintegrating into the large promenade courtyard thanks to an augmented reality device. This tool was designed from archival documents and testimonies.
Saturday, October 17 at 11:00 AM and at 2:00 PM.
Free event, by reservation only.
Bookings can be made:
• by phone at 04 78 53 60 41
