The appointment is set at 3 pm in the place des Platanes, in front of the party room. A walk in the heart of the village (less than one kilometer) is proposed. Accompanied by architects, participants will discover the key elements of the local architectural and landscape heritage: half-timbered houses, mansions, barns and annexes, public facilities, houses and buildings from between the two wars, 20th century villas, The Commission has made a number of proposals.
This walk will allow you to better understand the architectural and landscape influences that shape the identity of the village. The tour will conclude with a visit to a rehabilitated brownfield. Three renovated hangars now house the Pinhadeta coworking nursery, associated with the architecture agency SLK, an artist’s studio and housing, a health point, and soon a micro-nursery and several grounds for different types of habitat.
The visit of these transformed buildings will highlight the architectural bias of the project, reconciling new features and heritage preservation. Architects from the Landes will present their projects and discuss architectural reconversion practices.
