Archive Exhibition of the Pre-Trial Art Village of Chomo
Throughout the weekend of the European Heritage Days you will have the opportunity to visit an archive exhibition concerning the Preludian Art Village. Since its opening in 1964, the site created by Chomo has undergone several evolutions. Today, the association of the Friends of Chomo proposes to revisit the stages of creation of this set through many archives of which it is custodian, including videos, photos and objects that belonged to the artist, and the collection of art critic Laurent Danchin. It also includes the archives of photographer Francis David, kept at the LaM - Lille Métropole Museum of modern art, contemporary art and art brut, in Villeneuve d'Ascq.
The exhibition is realized in collaboration with the collective Patrimoines Irréguliers de France.
