From spinning to public service school: a heritage reinvented
On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, discover the fascinating history of the building that houses the Regional Institute of Administration (IRA) of Lille through an outdoor exhibition.
Located in the heart of a site steeped in history, our public service school was once a spinning mill. Through a series of explanatory panels and visual archives, this exhibition traces the transformation of this emblematic place, from its industrial past to its conversion into a public service school for public service agents.
Architecture and local memory meet here: a tribute to the industrial heritage of Lille and the richness of its history.
Although the Institute is not open to the public due to work, this outdoor exhibition delves into the rich history of this iconic place.
An invitation to explore the local heritage in the open air!
