Der 2024 renovierte Fénoux-Mast ist eines der letzten Zeugnisse des Steuermastes, der in den 1830er Jahren von dem französischen Leutnant Julien Fénoux erfunden wurde. Vom Turm aus zeigten die Piloten den Schiffen dank eines geschalteten Mastes den Weg zwischen den Klippen und Sandbänken.
Die Animation ermöglicht es, die Geschichte des Mastes zu entdecken, seine Bedeutung für den Zugang zum Hafen von Audierne kennenzulernen und sich mit seinen Signalen vertraut zu machen.

Become a pilot of the Fénoux mast
The Fénoux mast, renovated in 2024, is one of the last testimonies of the piloting mast invented by the Audiernais lieutenant Julien Fénoux in the 1830s. From the turret, the pilots indicated to the ships, thanks to an articulated mast the route to follow between the reefs and sandbanks.
The animation allows you to discover the history of the mast, its importance for access to the port of Audierne and to learn about its signals.

Il montante Fénoux, rinnovato nel 2024, costituisce una delle ultime testimonianze del montante di pilotaggio inventato dal tenente della marina francese Julien Fénoux negli anni 1830. Dalla torretta, i piloti indicavano alle navi, grazie a un montante articolato, la strada da seguire tra le scogliere e i banchi di sabbia.
L'animazione permette di scoprire la storia del palo, la sua importanza per l'accesso al porto di Audierne e di iniziarsi ai suoi segnali.

Le mât Fénoux, rénové en 2024, constitue l'un des derniers témoignages du mât de pilotage inventé par le lieutenant de vaisseau audiernais Julien Fénoux dans les années 1830. Depuis la tourelle, les pilotes indiquaient aux navires, grâce à un mât articulé la route à suivre entre les écueils et bancs de sable.
L'animation permet de découvrir l'histoire du mât, son importance pour l'accès au port d'Audierne et de s'initier à ses signaux.

Desde la torreta, los pilotos indicaban a las naves, gracias a un mástil articulado, el camino a seguir entre los escollos y bancos de arena.
La animación permite descubrir la historia del mástil, su importancia para el acceso al puerto de Audierne e iniciarse en sus señales.
