For Penny, painting means translating her feelings into painting, using nature and color as keywords. She likes to reinvent the subject to paint in a colorful, semi-abstract or abstract atmosphere. The result is a painting of the imaginary, with a poetic look, personal atmospheres with mostly bright and strong colors, expressing his joy of life.
What matters to her is to take pleasure in painting or creating, starting from my deep emotions, while varying the techniques. Peindre, pour Penny, c’est traduire son ressenti en peinture en ayant comme mot clé la nature et la couleur. Elle aime réinventer le sujet à peindre dans une ambiance colorée, semi-abstraite ou abstraite. Le résultat est une peinture de l’imaginaire, au regard poétique, des ambiances personnelles avec des couleurs pour la plupart vives et fortes, exprimant sa joie de vivre.
Ce qui compte pour elle, c’est de prendre plaisir à peindre ou à créer, en partant de mes émotions profondes, tout en variant les techniques. Elle fuit la routine et crée en mélangeant plusieurs techniques, la peinture à l’acrylique, l’aquarelle rehaussé de broderie machine en piqué libre, l’art textile en utilisant différentes technique de teinture, en ajoutant de la gravure et de la broderie, la collagraphie, les collages pour lesquels elle imprime ses propres papiers en utilisant une gel presse, sans oublier la technique du cyanotype par laquelle elle peut exprimer tout son amour pour la nature.
