The Manoir de Kerat is a noble residence whose ground floor probably dates back to the 10th century and whose elevation led by Lord Redoret dates from the 1390s. Around 1480, thanks to the purely strategic marriage of Perrine Redoret, Lady of Kerhat, with Jean d'Arradon, Lord of Keran, the two Seigneuries are installed in Keran and the consolidation of the lands is immediately carried out. Kerat’s status will change from Lordship to Manor.
