The Habitation Clément is today a vast area of 160 hectares, nestled in the commune of François, south-east of Martinique.
Exceptional site for its architectural richness and history, the Habitation Clément welcomes every year more than 150,000 visitors who come to discover this place which has preserved its original agricultural and industrial function, while developing a heritage and cultural policy that is accessible to all.
At the heart of the sugar cane and banana plantations, this unique place brings together a domestic complex classified as a historic monument, a century-old rum house and a contemporary art centre run by the Fondation Clément.
