Founded in 2024, The KROOZ is a quintet composed of professional musicians from the national and international scene: Japan, Armenia, Chile, Egypt, Canada, Europe...
Each and everyone evolves within various projects, mixing classical music, jazz, pop or world music, and enriches the group’s identity with their own musical culture.
The first album, "À contre-courant", shakes up the codes and offers, through a generous writing, a singular and unclassifiable universe. The twelve original tracks, composed notably by Ludovic Rivière and Olivier Batlle, lead the listener on a journey through human emotions and desires. Inspired by world music, these compositions alternate muted atmospheres and ardent impulses, evoking all the richness of life.
Song: Sona Arakelyan
Violin: Lawrence Vaigot
Alto: Kumiko Wada
Clarinets: Ludovic Rivière
Double bass: Olivier Batlle

The church seems to have been started at the end of the 11th century and finished in the first half of the 12th. It consists of a nave divided into five bays with side aisles, a transept, a choir with ambulatory on which three circular chapels open. The nave is arched like an ogival barrel in the first four bays from the entrance, and semi-circular in the fifth. The transept crossing is covered by an octagonal dome, topped with a square bell tower. The choir is arched like an oven and the aisles are arched. The ambulatory features a ring-shaped barrel. From the entrance, the floor is substantially inclined towards the apse. The capitals of the choir are carved with characters and fantastic animals.
