Die Säkularität, die in der Verfassung von 1958 verankert ist, gehört zum natioanalen Erbe. Sie ist das Ergebnis unserer Geschichte, in der die Protestanten zu entscheidenden Zeiten eine wichtige Rolle spielten. Die Gesetze über den Säkularismus wurden hart diskutiert, die öffentliche Ordnung wurde möglicherweise gestört. Die Debatte hat sich in der zweiten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts beruhigt.
